Cancelation Policy
Cancelation Policy
This policy explains how plan cancellations, billing cycles, and refunds work for Better Louisville subscriptions. It applies to all Monthly and Annual paid plans, and to free trials.
Free Trial
New accounts may start with a 14-day free trial. No payment method is required to start a trial, and you may cancel at any time during the trial with no charge. If your trial expires without upgrading to a paid plan, your existing listings remain visible, but editing and other paid features are disabled until you subscribe.
Canceling Your Plan
You can cancel your paid plan at any time from your Account Settings page. When you cancel, your subscription is scheduled to end at the close of your current paid billing cycle — it is not cancelled immediately. Until the cancellation date, you'll retain full access to your account, including your active listings, editing, analytics, and all other features included in your plan.
After the cancellation date passes, your subscription ends, your listings remain visible in a read-only state, and editing or publishing new listings will require you to select a new plan.
No Refunds
All Monthly and Annual subscription payments are non-refundable. This includes partial months or years remaining at the time you cancel. Because you retain full access through the end of your current paid billing cycle, no prorated or partial refund is issued for any unused portion of that cycle.
Changing or Upgrading Your Plan
You may change your plan tier or billing interval (Monthly or Annual) at any time from Account Settings. Switching plans starts a new billing cycle immediately: you'll be charged the full price of the new plan right away, and your previous plan is cancelled without any prorated credit for time remaining on it. There is no partial-period proration for plan changes.
If you're on an Annual plan, you may switch to Monthly billing only during the last month of your current annual term. This restriction exists because annual payments are non-refundable, and switching earlier would forfeit the remaining prepaid annual period. You may switch to a different plan tier on Annual billing at any time.
Failed or Past-Due Payments
If a scheduled payment fails, your account is marked past due and you'll be prompted to update your payment method. Continued failure to pay may result in suspension of paid features until payment is resolved or the subscription is otherwise cancelled.
Agency-Managed Accounts
If your account was created by an agency administrator, your plan and billing are managed directly by your agency. Please contact your agency administrator for questions about cancellations or billing on your account.
